pride camp...

i just went for army pride camp for the last 2 days at sentosa, org by focus adventure group... it was a camp for wits leader and activist... for those who do not know wat pride or wits are, well wits stands for work improvement teams... and the pride movement is a movement for the saf to come out with improvement projects to make the saf more efficient... anyway, i signed up for this camp last dec and it was supp to be held on 1,2 feb but it got postponed to 22-23 feb... wat a time to attend the camp with so much work and incidents happening back in office... couldn't fully enjoy the camp with the thought of work in my mind... felt kindda paiseh for my colleagues to be slogging while i'm having this camp here in sentosa... but all in all the camp was fun... day one was quite stone cuz we're still getting to know each other... we had adventure type of games, similar to obs... things like transporting ppl through a tight ropes, balancing beam, spider web and high elements with all the belaying stuff... the second day was split into 2 parts, it was rafting in the morn and amazing race in the afternoon... well, the rafting constuction wasn't very easy... at first i thought i should be kindda easy cuz i did it in ocs for leadership fieldcamp... but i was the leader and i had to be separated from the group and can only liase with them through comms... there were 4 teams in total... and there was conjestion in the station, but luckily we switched to a separate station... kindda interesting to comms them to build the raft, instructions had to be clear, with lotsa coordination... in the end we had to combine the stucture with other groups and sail to another island... the afternoon was spent running ard to find check points... but we splitted up and shared info with the other groups to complete all the objectives... well, i think the most impt takeaway for the camp was the need for cooperation, cuz we cooperated with all the teams for every single game... this is prolly the 1st non-competitive competitive camp i had... cuz everyone altrustically cooperated...

well, back to work again tmr...
